Team get-to-gether

Members of staff and volunteers came together on Thursday 23 May for a 'walk and talk' event. This offered a great opportunity for our new CEO, Marie Norbury, to get to know volunteers from the Seniors and Prisons projects. The walk began at Camden Town Station with a short prayer/poem including the words, "May the sun shine warmly upon us, the rains fall soft upon us, and may God hold us gently'. Well the sun did shine on throughout. Passing Regents Park Zoo, huge mansions, the Regents Park Mosque and many other sites, we walked along Regents Canal to Little Venice. We sat in the sun for a simple lunch at the Waterside Canal boat Cafe. As Anne, one of our volunteers said: Yes indeed, lovely walk. Good to catch up with everyone
