London Prisons Case Manager, Breda Power shares her story

November 9, 2024 Prisoners

Breda Power was recently interviewed for Professional Social Work magazine about her work and motivation.

In the article Breda reflects on how her experience as a child in 1975, when her father was wrongly imprisoned, as one of the Birmingham Six, eventually introduced her to the reality of miscarriages of justice and the treatment of prisoners and their families. This eventually led her to the Irish Chaplaincy where she has worked for more than 20 years as London Prisons Case Manager.
