Welcome to the Irish Chaplaincy Prayer Room. Please feel free to add your prayers and intentions as regularly as you wish. We hope this can become a peaceful place you can come to with your concerns and also view and join with the concerns and prayers of others. We will be inviting special guests to pray with us from time to time. We hope this becomes a place to remember loved ones, to mark special events, to be grateful for something happening or to bring a concern and receive blessings and solidarity from each other.

Dear Lord
I pray help for Bill that he will recover from his second hip operation and his friend who has many health challenges. They seem to have been forgotten by everybody in their many trials. I beseech you to look on them in your eternal kindness and bless them in their struggles.
There friendship has endured through it's many tests. May it continue to do so as they now face increasing challenges. it has been a true brotherhood.
I pray that those who should help them will do so.

For Sr Katherine RIP
We remember Sr Katherine RIP, who died on 12th April. We remember Sr Monica and Sr Nora who supported her and the rest of the Community and Sr Katherine's family and friends. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. Amen
My mental health, depression loneliness
Please pray for my mental health. I am suffering with depression for many many years I lost 4 babies to stillbirths. I found out my husband I'm 21 years was having a two year affair. I am struggling every day to get out of bed. And for god to give me the grace to forgive all the pain and suffering. My husband has caused me and my children so we can move on with our lives in the peace of God, . I beg you God heal me. Jesus drop one drop of your blood upon me and my children St Bridget intercede for me and my children to get through this
Help with relationship problems
Dear Lord, I don't know which way to turn just now, I feel stuck, please help me to return to prayer, also help for Sue's husband's test results.

For my husband In prison
Please pray for my husband in prison, and also myself and my 7 year old son who is not coping well
Lord help me to be patient and kind with my husband who has dementia.

BLESSING FOR PEACE
As the fever of day calms towards twilight
May all that is strained in us come to ease.
We pray for all who suffered violence today,
May an unexpected serenity surprise them.
For those who risk their lives each day for peace,
May their hearts glimpse providence at the heart of history.
That those who make riches from violence and war
Might hear in their dreams the cries of the lost.
That we might see through our fear of each other
A new vision to heal our fatal attraction to aggression.
That those who enjoy the privilege of peace
Might not forget their tormented brothers and sisters.
That the wolf might lie down with the lamb,
That our swords be beaten into ploughshares
And no hurt or harm be done
Anywhere along the holy mountain.
